Between deployments, PCSes, and just the rigors of life in the military, it can be tough to find time to relax with your spouse. Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s Day, your anniversary, a birthday or just a night out without the kids, it is essential to take the time to enjoy each other’s company and keep the relationship going. It can be tough to do, especially if the active duty spouse hasn’t been home much.
Worse yet, maybe you haven’t been at your duty station very long, so you have no idea what’s even available for a special night out. Or maybe, your kids are very little, and you are hesitant to leave them with a new sitter you barely know. Money might be an issue both for the date and for the childcare. As if military marriage isn’t tough enough, there are always obstacles to spending quality time together. Once you’ve found a sitter you are comfortable with, check out these unique, somewhat reasonably priced Date Night ideas, not just for Valentines, but anytime.
