Virginia Musical Museum


Monday-Friday 10AM-5PM, Saturday 10AM-4PM

Come check out some fantastic musical exhibits! From pianos to phonographs, music boxes to circuses, this museum is home to amazing exhibits featuring Virginian artists throughout history. Adult admission is $10, Students & Seniors are $8, and Children 5 and under get in free!

Amy’s Dance Studio: Dance Social

Newport News

Fridays from 7:30PM-10PM

Get your dance on at Amy’s Dance Studio, a Latin and ballroom dance facility. The social starts with a forty-five-minute lesson, followed by open dancing! Admission is just $5.

Chrysler Museum of Art


Tuesday-Saturday 10AM-5PM, Sunday 12PM-5PM

Explore beautiful exhibits at the Chrysler Museum of Art, started by the son of the car company founder. From historic photographs and paintings to centuries-old glass art to a create-your-own art station for kids , there is truly something for everyone! Exhibits change out monthly, so there’s always something new to experience! And the best part is that is it FREE!

Turnpike Troubadours

Country-rock band the Turnpike Troubadours is bringing their unique Midwestern sound to NorVA. With their new album, A Long Way From Your Heart, the Troubadours will take you on a musical journey unlike any other.

A Walk in the Woods

July 6th – 8th& July 13th – 15th at 8PM, Sunday at 2:30PM

Directed by George Lynch, this drama depicts the unlikely friendship between Russian and American arms negotiators and deals with the deep understanding they begin to foster for each other.

Chalk the Walk

On the Boardwalk, Virginia Beach
July 7, 2018

Artists and wanna-be artists come together for the Chalk the Walk ARTsplosion. Registration is on the boardwalk at 17th Street, and chalk art is displayed for three blocks. At Chalk the Walk, participants draw four by four foot chalk drawings. A theme guides artists each year. 200 competitors complete chalk drawings that are evaluated by a panel of judges.

Beatty Barnes and Friends at The Comedy Club

Comedian Beatty Barnes has worked with some huge names in the industry and is ready to bring the funny to your night out! The show is age restricted to 16+, with general admission at $21.

Join the Virginia Symphony for their Symphony by the Sea series, presented by The Breeden Company. From Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire to Beethoven 5, this musical night will have something for everyone. The best part is, admission is free and open to the public!

Slightly Stoopid with special guests Stick Figure and Pepper


July 13th at 6:30PM

This is Slightly Stoopid’s fifth appearance at the Portsmouth Union Bank & Trust Pavilion, and this time they’ve brought friends! They are accompanied by Stick Figure, a one-man band, and Pepper, a three-piece band who headlined for Warped Tour in 2011.

Moody McCarthy with Jim Gallagher at The Comedy Club

Comedian Moody McCarthy started his stand-up career in Syracuse, NY over two decades ago, and has been running ever since. The show is age restricted to 16+, with general admission at $21.

The Avett Brothers, a real life family band from Mount Pleasant, NC combine a whole host of genres to form their folk-rock sound. Their past three concerts at the Pavilion nearly sold out, so book your tickets soon!

Buddy Guy & Johnny Lang

Absolute legend Buddy Guy is coming to a Portsmouth! Famous for his incredible blues guitar prowess, Buddy is joined by blues prodigy Johnny Lang on stage at the Union Bank & Trust Pavilion. It is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime concert!

Ron Feingold with David Beck at The Comedy Club

Comedian Ron Feingold combines hilarity with musical prowess in this fantastic comedy-a cappella show! The show is age restricted to 16+, with general admission at $21.

The Brian McKnight 4


July 22nd at 7:30PM

Selling more than 20 million albums worldwide, Brian McKnight is a phenomenon. He plays nine instruments, including the flugelhorn! McKnight is joined by R&B singer Chrisette Michele, and local artist K’BANA BLAQ at the Union Bank & Trust Pavilion.

1964 “The Tribute”

1964 is a Beatles tribute band, lauded by Rolling Stones Magazine as the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth”. With period instruments, clothing, and much more this incredible band is here to give you the full experience of seeing the Beatles live.
